Included are some photos from a recent escapade there. We can't impose photos of you on board the vessel, but perhaps some of these may suffice to prove you made a fishing or sightseeing expedition outside of Rio.
Prices are not for the weak of pocket and you should do an internet search for deals and always negotiate. It does help to have several guys to share expenses. You may also want to negotiate bringing your own food. What was served was less than stellar and several people were sick the next day.
What little fishing we did do was not spectacular as we only caught small snapper, corvina and other small varieties. If you make it a full day of pure fishing, they go farther offshore. If you are mixing the day with sightseeing and fishing they stay in closer.
I was surprised at how easily we convinced some of our friends to join us for a day long trip on a boat and they actually got up early enough to make the trip. As it turned out, 3 of our 5 had never set foot on a boat and 2 did not know how to swim. They had a great time, talked about it all day, night and into the next morning. We were certainly well rewarded for providing this first in a lifetime opportunity...........well rewarded!
