Fortaleza
Fortaleza is an affluent city with more BMWs per capita than Rio or Sao Paulo.
More than just a tropical destination, this progressive Brazilian city combines seductive geography with a proud history, vivacious people and rich culture. Fortaleza, is a fairly modern capital city which offers a wide
range of tourism options including a variety of hotels, excellent fine dining, lively
nightlife and a myriad of outdoor recreational activities.
History
Fortaleza means “ fortress ” in Portuguese. This was a city where wars raged on for independence and freedom. Founded in 1810, it has become the fifth largest town in Brazil and is one of the most popular with tourists.
The People
The women in Fortaleza are an exotic mixture of Indian and Portuguese, a
combination that definitely rates high on our list. Like most towns in Brazil
people here are really friendly and most of the girls here are non-pros, just
cute brasileras looking for a good time. If you are tired of dealing with pros, then Fortaleza is the spot. While there are definitely pros here, you are more likely to find the Brazilian equivalent to our girl next door. This is probably one of the reasons it is quickly becoming a hot destination for the single male traveler.
Erotic Life
Prices are incredibly cheap here for the quality of the talent. Non pros and pro,s alike party together and everyone you meet is available. The top price I’ve been quoted by two 18,s was BRL 150 these were two spectacular models one blonde the other bruunette. But that’s another story. In terms of the action in Fortaleza, there aren’t any termas or boites worth speaking about, but you can still find plenty of fun.. Again, there are not as many professionals, instead there are many young women willing to make your trip a memorable one. The action in Fortaleza depends on the night of the week. Eateries
While vacationing in Fortaleza, you will have to face the delicious dilemma of
having to choose among the city's countless restaurants. Here are a few
suggestions: Colher de Pau and Estoril offer excellent regional cuisine, and are
located in the very hip Iracema Beach neighborhood, where the streets are filled
with live music and people. Every Thursday is "crab night" in Fortaleza, and
travelers with a hearty appetite can enjoy incredibly sweet crabs cooked in
coconut milk, lime and cilantro broth,or a wide range of fresh seafood--all to
the sounds of live music.
Weather
The Northeast of Brazil is hot, humid and doesn’t get nearly as much rain as Rio or Sao
Paolo. You won’t have to worry about rain but you will need to be aware that
temperatures soar especially during the summer months so be prepared to sweat.
Bring lots of sunscreen, shorts, flip flops, tank tops and t-shirts. The best
time of year to visit is October through February. Remember, our winter is their
summer.
Outdoor Activities
There are a variety of fun, outdoor recreational activities to choose from in
Fortaleza. Due to the sunny weather, beautiful beaches and relaxed atmosphere,
you will find yourself wanting to experience some of the best this city has to
offer. One of the most popular activities is to rent dune buggies and go off
roading on the beaches. You will have so much fun with the buggies since you can
also take them into the city and pick up some locals. Another fun activity is
windsurfing. The beaches here are incredible and you will definitely be able to
do some top notch watersports.
